September 7, 2006 (SEATTLE) — WizKids Inc. announced a change in the release date of its first Battlestar Galactica™ collectable card game (CCG) expansion, Battlestar Galactica: Betrayal. The date has been moved from October 11, 2006, to November 8, 2006, due to unforeseen production issues.

Betrayal expands on the base Battlestar Galactica CCG set with new images, added game play options and characters. Betrayal retails for $3.49 per Booster Pack of 15 cards. Each Booster contains 11 common cards, three uncommon cards and one rare card. The Betrayal expansion also features 500 hand-autographed, rare Crewman Cally cards, signed by actress Nicki Clyne. The promotion features mail-in cards randomly found inside Boosters that players and collectors can send in to receive the signed cards. There are 165 cards in the Battlestar Galactica: Betrayal set.
